Table for Four

About this experience

Enjoy making coorrdinated placemats, table runners, and napkins for any occasion. This quilt-as-you-go method is quick and easy, and fat quarter friendly, too! The pattern "Table for Four" from Patterns by Annie uses Soft and Stable to act as the batting and stabilizer. 

Supplies: (To make four placemats (18"x13" each) and one table runner (13"x54")

Assorted coordinating fabrics for pieced fronts:   7 Fat Quarters

Coordinating yardage for all backs and binding:  2 yards

ByAnnie's Soft and Stable:  A 1-yard package (36"x58") OR 2 Soft and Stable Project Packs (precut 13-1/2"x18-1/2")

Thread to match backing fabric. 


To make reversible napkins (17-1/2" x 17-1/2" each): 4 Fat Quarters for fronts and 1 yard coordinating print for all backs. Choose assorted fabrics to coordinate with placemats and table runner. 

You will also need to  bring your own sewing machine and basic sewing supplies. A complete supply list will be available in the shop by February 1, or can be emailed to you at your request after registering.

Barb Rose has been sewing for 50 years, first making clothing for herself and family along with craft sewing. Her quilting journey began after retiring as a Computer Lab Instructor for public schools in California in 2010. Once she took a few quilting classes, she was hooked! She enjoys various piecing techniques as well as applique, and she loves binding quilts. She also enjoys counted cross stitch, embroidery, and is learning to do wool applique. Her nickname at Cottage Grove is the Color Queen because she's adept at putting colors together for quilt projects. ;-)
