Got my quilt back. NOW WHAT??

Wednesday, Feb. 8 - 6 to 8.30pm

About this experience

If you're new to quilting, there are some "next steps" you may not be familiar with. You finished your quilt top, had it long-arm quilted and now find yourself wondering what to do with your creation. We have answers!

This class is part demonstration and part lecture. There will be handouts provided, but we recommend bringing a notebook and pen/pencil to make notes during demonstration.

We'll walk you through how to trim your quilt and get it ready to bind, and give you tips for making this process easier as well. Come learn from an experienced quilter and you won't be intimidated about finishing up that lovely quilt top anymore!

Barb Rose has been sewing for 50 years, first making clothing for herself and family and lots of craft sewing as well. Her quilting journey began 13 years ago after retiring as a Computer Lab Instructor for public schools in California after 25 years. Once she took a few quilting classes, she was hooked! She enjoys various piecing techniques as well as applique, and also enjoys counted cross stitch, embroidery, and is learning wool applique as well. Her nickname at Cottage Grove is the Color Queen because she's adept at putting colors together for quilt projects. ;-)
